Is a full-face dive mask expensive?

    in General Discussions

I recently heard about such masks, it sounds tempting. Who uses one?

Each type of mask is better suited for certain situations. Traditional masks are more suitable for active swimming, freediving, long dives, long distance swimming and any other situation where you need to maintain a high breathing rate. Full face masks are better for leisurely swimming below the surface of the water, exploring the underwater terrain while standing or swimming in the water, and short dives for beginners. If you need to swim against waves, current, or just intensely for whatever reason, you're better off using a traditional mask. But I prefer full face masks for the fact that they have a great viewing angle. Go to divingpicks.com, there are lots of tips and reviews for divers, both beginners and pros.

They have a wide range of prices, it's important to understand if you need it in principle. Yes, it seems that it is much more comfortable, but in fact for normal diving you don't need it at all. An ordinary mask is enough for you.
